USWA is designed to give non mainstream sports a platform. In 2017, urban sport fans and 100,000 people from all over the world enjoyed the best of urban sports at multiple locations throughout the city. Urban Sports week is an initiative of Gemeente Amsterdam and TIG Sports and fully supported by all the participating urban sports and took place in 2019 as well.

Welcome to Urban Sports Week Amsterdam. A week full of fun, sports and spectacular shows, all right in the heart of Amsterdam. Amsterdam delivers the stage to urban professionals as well as amateurs and spectators. Various urban sports have the opportunity to showcase their sport, next to multiple side events all across Amsterdam.
