@venture Games
On August 28, 29, and 30, the second edition of @venture Games will take place. @venture Games promises a unique experience with activities such as Real Life Fortnite, FC 24 Skill Games, GameGymWall, NBA2K Skill Games, GameTime, KPN GameTour, and Hockey Skill Games. Discover the limitless possibilities of Esports in the Esports Stadium (Black Box) and the E-zone (Talent Stage), where the real and virtual worlds come together.
Two programs focused on gaming and physical activity will be held on the forecourt of AFAS Live.
Baseball 5
In collaboration with KNBSB, a Baseball 5 tournament will take place on the forecourt. This short, compact version of traditional baseball and softball is played with 2 teams of 5 players and in 5 innings. Bats and gloves are left behind. In the small field, easily marked out with chalk, you hit the ball into play with your hand, field the ball with your hands, and catch it with your hands. During the tournament, visitors or passersby can join in or take part in a short clinic.
VR Experience
Step into the world of virtual reality, where the digital environment knows no bounds. With our VR headsets, participants can choose from over 20 sports and simulation games. Games can be played standing or sitting and require more physical effort than you might think. Clear blocks to the rhythm of a song in Beat Saber, explore the endless possibilities of VR in First Steps, dive into a roller coaster, or play tennis against each other. Everything is possible during the VR Experience.
In collaboration with Leeflang Virtual Sports, the program is complemented by a unique Baseball experience. These VR training sessions offer realistic scenarios, improving hand-eye coordination, timing, and ball recognition.
