Since the first freerunners and tracers started training in Amsterdam (more than 10 years ago), the sport has grown explosively. Freerun/parkour is now the most practiced urban sport in the city.
Meanwhile, a whole new generation is learning from the first freerunners and their successors how to overcome their fears, push boundaries and overcome obstacles. Are you an experienced freerunner and would you like to train during the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam? You can sign up here for the jams.
During USWA, the Amsterdam freerun schools work together to show children and young people the sport. There are workshops for children from 6 years old and a jam for 16+. Expect a big setup for big runs, flips and tricks. Register here for the workshop for your age.
In addition to moving yourself, on Saturday afternoon you can also see Dutch and foreign teams competing for the win in boss tag, World Chase Tag (TM). Don’t miss anything! Sign up here as a spectator!
